Front End Developer


About The Role

Creative are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate website developer to join their experienced team in Todmorden. The candidate will be expected to become an integral part of the design department and will be responsible for frontend development with some backend development of bespoke websites for an array of clients.

As a Front-end Developer you’ll be responsible for programming and digital design aspects of our website development. You’ll help deliver our websites and HTML emails using the latest techniques and standards placing all our client’s requirements at the heart of everything you do. You will be expected to keep on top of development trends, come up with exciting new ideas and ensure that you are always pushing the boundaries when it comes to website functionality and user experience.


  • Flawless knowledge of primary programming languages
  • Working knowledge of PHP, ability to adjust and write PHP code
  • Comfortable working within the WordPress platform
  • Cross-browser, multi-platform development and testing
  • Experience with third-part API & plugin integration
  • Hosting / Domain management skills
  • SEO implementation

This role would primarily be suited to a candidate who has a few years’ experience working in an agency, who wants to take on a little bit more responsibility, allowing themselves to become an integral cog of a business. Salary & Benefits:

  • Excellent basic salary & target related bonuses
  • £20,000.00  – £26000 /year – subject to experience
